Senator Olamilekan, a former chairman of the public accounts committee of the House of Representatives, also took time, in the two minutes, twenty seconds video, to look at the current condition of the country adding that his ultimate wish is for Nigeria to be able to meet its contemporaries in development.
“I quite agree with those schools of thought that say Nigeria needs to be restructured. Nigeria needs to be restructured economically, Nigeria needs to be restructured politically, and until that is done as a nation, I largely believe it would be solved.
“So I support total restructuring of Nigeria in its entirety…I want to thank the Almight God who has kept us together as a nation…
“We call on all our leaders and all of us, both the executive, the legislature and the judiciary and the opinion leaders across the country that there is need for us as a nation to be restructured so that the going concern of this country would not be in doubt,” Senator Olamilekan, who represents Alimosho federal constituency of Lagos at the Senate, said before singing to celebrate the country.
